User Creation and Editing

To access the GDTF Share, you need an account.

It is free to register.

Register New User

The address for the GDTF Share is: https://gdtf-share.com

  1. On the right side of the screen, click the Sign up for Free button.
  2. A new page opens.

  1. Enter the desired username. It must contain at least 5 characters.
  2. Enter the desired password in both password fields. The password must contain at least 7 characters.
  3. Enter a valid email address in both email fields.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Choose the reason for registration.
  6. Add a company name if it applies.
  7. Enter the CAPTCHA code.
  8. Click Next. The Terms of Use page appears and links to the Privacy Policy.
  9. Scroll down and read the terms.
  10. Select the checkboxes to confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
  11. Click Proceed.

If the CAPTCHA code is incorrect, an error pop-up appears. Click OK to continue, then repeat the steps starting with step 7.

If the CAPTCHA code is correct, an information pop-up asks you to check your email for a confirmation message. The email contains a validation link that must be opened within 7 days. Otherwise, you must register again.

Important

The email typically arrives within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox.

  • To confirm the account registration, click the link in the email.
  • Log in to https://gdtf-share.com with your account.

Edit User Profile

When you are logged in to the GDTF Share, you can review and update your user data on the Your Profile page.

Click Edit profile in the title bar.

The Your Profile page opens in an overlay.

The page currently contains these profile sections:

  • User name
  • Password
  • E-Mail
  • Company
  • E-Mail Subscription
  • API Tokens
  • Site Theme

To edit one of these entries, click the corresponding row.

The update area opens on the right side and contains these buttons:

  • Back to return without saving
  • Update profile to save your changes

To close the Your Profile page, click Icon close .

The profile page also contains these additional options:

  • Terms of Use
  • Privacy
  • Tracking preferences
  • Delete user profile

Manufacturer account

Tip

If you are a manufacturer, please read the documentation for manufacturers, then apply for a manufacturer account.

Every GDTF file you upload with a manufacturer account will automatically be marked with the manufacturer tag.
