AML Lighting Posted January 25 Posted January 25 A GDTF file for a light was created, but after uploading the 3DS model, the axis orientation and position are incorrect, and the model cannot be displayed correctly in MA3 3D. AML_Lighting@AL-Q5IP_AuraZoom_FX_IP65@V1.0.gdtf
dmueller Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Hi @AML Lighting In the GDTF specification, a maximum of 1200 vertices per fixture is recommended. The grandMA3 visualizer replaces a fixture’s models with standard models once this value is exceeded. In the Render Qualities of the grandMA3 (Add Window → Pools → Render Qualities), you can edit an existing Render Quality or create a new one. If you set Body Quality to High or Ultra, higher‑resolution meshes will be displayed using their original models. The GDTF Builder shows a vertex count of 4186 for this fixture. 1
dmueller Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Regarding the rotation of the head: the mesh is rotated around its X‑axis for the tilt movement. Therefore, the mesh’s X‑axis must be positioned to match the physical tilt rotation axis. Here an example from another fixture: 1
