smuko13 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) I’m having trouble with something that seems like it should be a simple fix; I’m working on getting the profile for the Chauvet Strike Array 4C’s to render its beams correctly. It’s a 4 cell RGB LED crowd blinder. I can’t seem to find the right boxes to tick to link the individual cells to the main beam control. Currently the beam looks like it originates in the center of the fixture pointed downwards… in the geometry editor it looks like everything is placed correctly but I can’t figure out what parameters to link to get it to look right. I’m pretty new to working on GDTFs so any help would be appreciated! I’m using Vectorworks Showcase to visualize if that helps. Thanks! Attached is a view from the back in Vectorworks with the GDTF that Chauvet made so you can see what I mean. Edited April 27 by smuko13
Petr Vanek - Robe Posted April 30 Posted April 30 It is important to mention the exact GDTF file. In case of a vendor specific issue (like this one) best is to go directly to the vendor - Vectorworks forum. I looked at this official file briefly in the GDTF Builder and in BlenderDMX and it seemed OK, but details might be important so please check directly with VW support.
