Newsletter of the 21th of February 2019 - We have some updates for you

Recommended Posts

Hello,

It has been a while since you received our first newsletter.

What happened since the last newsletter?

We released GDTF version 0.89 19th December, 2018. Beside a number of technical changes, which you can take a look at in detail in the GDTF wiki, we also released the GDTF database where you can find current revisions of a first number of fixtures we maintain as examples for you.

You can register and login to this database on gdtf-share.com. Feel free to add more entries to the database.

Furthermore, we have recently started a forum where you can share questions, success, challenges, and keep yourself updated in shorter time frames. Access the forum here.

Moreover, we are currently in the last steps of finishing our GDTF fixture builder. It will be publicly available towards Prolight + Sound 2019.

If you attend this year's Prolight & Sound, you will have the opportunity to learn more regarding GDTF and MVR. We will proudly present both topics at the Robe, the Vectorworks and the MA booths.

We very much appreciate your interest. It's a true motivation for the entire GDTF development team. During our further development on GDTF and MVR you will receive updates. However, feel free to contact us at any time if you have specific questions or in case you need support. Contact the GDTF group by email info@gdtf-share.com. Or use the forum.

Best regards,
The GDTF Developers
