mgeasey@clearallvisualsllc.com
Hey Y'all! This might seem like crazy talk, but, is it an idea to have the 3D model of such fixtures that support it, change the pixel orientation as they do in real life, current work around would be the reference items XYZ mapped accordingly, but, maybe an option to switch the model out? I dunno, but with how complicated the fixtures are getting today and giving the operators the ability to change the pixel orientations, it would be cool to figure out a way for the 3D model to follow suit. Thoughts? Cheers! MattG
dmueller
Hi MattG, could you tell me a fixture where I could take a look at it? Cheers, Daniel
David "Rex" Whalen
Don't ColorForce series of fixtures have a Left--Right or Right--Left internal mode to 'swap' the 'patch' of the fixtures? Would that be an example of such a request?
mgeasey@clearallvisualsllc.com
Howdy Howdy! Yea, so, fixtures such as the JDC-1, X4 Bar, Colorforce Series, there's a bunch of others as well Thanks Rex!
dmueller
Ok, now I understand what you mean. It is not possible to change the pixel orientation dynamically at the moment. I have created a Feature Request also for this topic.
NRG Sille
The solution I used for MA2 profiles, like the TurboRay was a rotate parameter with zero fade time as a parent for the instances. This does not work for all constallations, but it was the best workaround ?
David "Rex" Whalen
re-defineArray(); re-defineMatrix(); re-definePatch(); ...something, something, lol. Edited January 22, 2020 by David "Rex" Whalen
